Letters To The Emperor 2

To whomever it may concern in the publishing world,

Many years ago, I met a woman who was down on her luck. She was living on a park bench when I saw her. Wishing to cheer her up, I showed her my manuscript about an orphan who discovers he has magic powers and is taken to a school of magic where he meets others like him. He finds true power in believing in the magic of words to draw people together. After I had finished reading to her, she cracked me head with a rock! When I woke up she was gone with me story! Now she’s rich and famous and I’m the one on food stamps! Don’t believe me? Ever wonder why she doesn’t make public appearances? Could it be she afraid of seeing me bloody face amongst her fans?

Think about it.

Sincerely, Danny Potterhead, Sleepless In The South Bronx
